Fear of failure

Fear of failure, many of us fall into this even before starting any work. I keep hearing the same question from many people about getting rid of the fear of failure.

Let me ask one question,

What is fear?

The definition says, An unpleasant feeling triggered by the perception of danger, real or imagined. This means what, this is your feeling and if anyone in this world can control it is YOU.

The only way to get ahead of it is just to get started.

The moment you start anticipating the result of your try, hundred thoughts will come, spoiling your effort.

One crucial point that you need to remember is that winning and losing are the two sides of the coin. They are not different. The only thing that makes the difference is your effort. If you can make such an effort that it will cross all the hurdles, you will win.

Always remember winners and losers have the same goal. If sprinters are running, all will aim for the GOLD. Nobody appears in the exam intending to fail the exam. Failure is a temporary status, and if we keep trying, we will bypass it and become the winner.

Losers quit when they fail. Winners fail until they succeed.

As Albert Einstein said, insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different results. If, for any reason, you fail, analyze your effort, make yourself understand where is the shortcoming, rectify the same and make another effort.

If you have a goal, you want to succeed, and hence there is no room for failure. It’s just an unsuccessful attempt before the success.

Remember two things:

What you think, you believe. What you believe, you create.

If you face it, you can break it. If you run, you are done.

Beware the Herod Spirit: A Silent Killer of Potential

In Matthew 2, we find a disturbing yet revealing story. Wise men from the East came to Jerusalem asking, “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?” (Matthew 2:2).
